Managing Workspace Members
Learn how to add, remove, and manage permissions for members in your Drippp workspace.
This document explains how to manage members in your Drippp workspace, including adding new members, removing existing ones, and managing their permissions.
Member Roles and Permissions
Drippp workspaces support three different member roles, each with different levels of access and permissions:
| Role | Description | Permissions |
|---|---|---|
| Owner | The creator of the workspace or designated successor | Full control of workspace, including deletion, billing, and all member management |
| Member | Regular workspace participant | Can use their own personal @drippp.email address to subscribe to content while sharing the workspace's credits |
Viewing Workspace Members
To view all current members of your workspace:
- Navigate to your workspace dashboard
- Click on "Members" in the sidebar
- View the complete list of members and their roles
The members list displays each person's:
- Name and email
- Current role
- Join date
Inviting New Members
To add colleagues, team members, or collaborators to your workspace:
- From the Members page, click the "Invite Members" button
- Enter the email address of the person you want to invite
- Select the role you want to assign them (Member or Owner)
- Repeat the same steps for each additional member you want to invite
- Click "Send Invites"
Invitees will receive an email with instructions to join your workspace.
Note
There is no limit to the number of members you can add to a workspace.
Managing Invitation Status
You can view and manage pending invitations from the Members page:
- Navigate to the "Pending Invites" section of the Members page
- View all outstanding invitations, when they were sent, and their expiration date
- Optionally, update the role of the invitee or remove the invitation from the dropdown menu next to the status
Changing Member Roles
To change a member's role within your workspace:
- Find the member in the members list
- Click the three-dot menu at the end of their row
- Choose "Update Role"
- Select the new role you want to assign
- Confirm the change
Transferring Ownership
To transfer ownership of the workspace to another member:
- Find the member in the members list
- Click the three-dot menu at the end of their row
- Choose "Transfer Ownership"
- Type the word "TRANSFER" to confirm
Removing Members
To remove a member from your workspace:
- Find the member in the members list
- Click the three-dot menu at the end of their row
- Select "Remove from Account"
- Confirm the removal when prompted
When a member is removed:
- They lose immediate access to the workspace
- They can no longer use the workspace email address
- Their personal Drippp account remains intact
- Digests that have already been created will not be affected
